This program gave me a solid understanding of all areas of communications, especially media relations, design, strategy and event management. The curriculum focused on practical skills needed in today’s news cycle and digital world, and included studying current real-world issues as they unfolded. I left with a robust portfolio that helped me launch the career I wanted, and I continue to use the skills from the program in my day-to-day work. — Amanda Carvalho, Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Ross Memorial Hospital, Public Relations –Corporate Communications, Graduate, 2014
